Around when Dane was born one of my greatest friends told me, "sometimes you just need to lower your expectations" and I have had to do that!! Thank you friend. So this particular evening in June was the daddy-daughter dance, Garrett was out of town, I was fried doing the kids by myself. Girls decided to dress themselves, the theme of the dance was the 50's... well whatever!

So true isn't it. We have to be OK with it for our own family and not judge others and what they can handle with their families. I'm always hoping people will give me some slack. Life is so crazy with four young kids all with their own schedules and crazy things!
